Penetrating Coin by Difatta Magic

A classic of magic thats incredibly easy to perform but incredibly fooling.

A 10p coin and a 2p coin lay on a sheet of rubber, on top of a wine glass that's secured with an elastic band to ensure nothing can be put inside the glass.

the audience member is instructed to choose a coin and with a gentle tap the coin visually melts through the rubber sheet and lands inside the wine glass.

everything can then be examined.

This is an old trick but still baffles people to this day as the coin sinking through the rubber looks like CGI.
